4 months here in Illinois. Starting to get the itch. I have been going out a couple times a week to watch. I walked up on a buck the other night. I beleive he is 2 years old. I got within 25 yards of him. How come they don't act that way during season? LOL I swear they have calanders and have season dates hilighted.

Last year I had stands set , and had walked up on a nice 8 point the week before season , but didnt see a deer the first week . Second week I think the huricane was on us , after that the woods looked quiet diferant , trees down and roads closed . I hope this year is not a repeat .
