Bass Pro definately has them and I believe Cabelas as well. They are around$30 for 6 - not too bad and like I said, they are THE BEST flying broadhead I've ever used.

I WILL NOT shoot mechanicals because I know that you don't need to if your bow is properly tuned - no matter how fast it is! When you shoot mechanicals you have one more thing that can go wrong and if you're either paying $$$$ for an outfitted hunt or you're spending countless hours in a treestand waiting for a hard earned trophy, you don't want to miss him because your blades opened up before they hit and your arrow veered off.
While I agree with your part about not having to shoot mechanicals to get good arrow flight if you have a well tuned bow, I DO NOT agree with your statement about mechanicals opening up in flight causing your arrow to veer off target. I have been shooting mechanical heads for nearly 10 years and I have never had this happen and I have never not had a pass through. If your bow is set up properly to shoot mechanicals, i.e enough draw weight, ke, etc... and your shot placement is where it should be, then mechanicals are a great option IMO. I get quicker kills and much more massive blood trails with them. I have shot almost evey type of mechanical on the market. My current hunting rig shoots my arrows at 305 fps so I shoot plenty of bow. If there were problems with mechanicals opening in flight, I think I would have seen it by now. Commnts like that are what gives mechanicals and unjust bad reputation.

I agree with Mike I love mechanicals because of the awesome devastation they deliver..They leave great blood trails and I think produce quicker recovery...IMO I do like fixed as well and agree with the proper tuning statement... I shot the G5 Montecs a couple of years ago and had great results with them...My bow also shoots just over 300fps and I have not yet had a problem with my mechanicals opening prematurely...I have shot mechanical off and on for about 9 years and never had a bad encounter with them..Some are in fact better than others and they can be kinda on the pricey side but they do the job and do it well...Just my .02 though
