Winners Choice string systems are the best I've ever seen.

After putting several shots on my Vapor Trail VTX, man am I am impressed! These are top notch strings and cables. And they are a little less $ than the winners choice.

The guy seems alright but I won't buy from him again. Sorry to say he got it wrong twice and it took twice as long the second time. Maybe he's gotten better.

Shel is a nice guy, but I have to say i like my VaporTrails better. I put a set of Pro-Strings on my Parker UL-31. They were a vast improvement over the factory ones, but the center serving went bad after only a couple hundred shots. I put some VT's on my Newberry and the center serving did the same thing. I think I was getting poor string loop material from my pro-shop, so I bought a spool of Brownell loop material and it hasn't happened again after I reserved both. Anyway, I like my VaporTrail VTX better because it seemed to settle almost immediately with no peep rotation whereas the ProStrings took around 100 or so shots. Still not bad IMO though.

I did send a friend of mine to Shel to get a string and cable set. The lenghts weren't right so he sent them back. He said Shel made it right, but didn't act too pleased about having to do it. Didn't give him a hard time or anything, just annoyed at having to do it I guess.
