dayna, I use the NAP 125 gr. Razorbak cut on contact for turkey. This works extremely well on the big birds with hollow bones. I'll use the NAP 125 gr. Thunderhead for big game. I like the extra steel tip for penetrating bone.

Cut on contact heads are very good for penitrating in big game.

I use magnus snuffer 150 gr. They cut a very good hole,I have never had a broken blade. The one down fall is you cant shoot over 40 yards with them. They are not the best head for long shots.

My wife shoots steel force premium 125 gr. She has never goten a pass though, but she only shot 52 #. This year she is going to 60.

I shoot a safari 90# 29 in 150 gr broadhead. If you hit the sholder bone,It will make no difrants what kind of head you have. You cant go though a big elk bone. I can shoot right though the 2 leg bones on a deer, and arrow will still have to be pulled from the ground.

The biggest thing in shooting elk is never shot a shot that is not right. good shot placement,is better than any broadhead.

Magnus Stingers, or the more primative glue on head. Not sure what the glue in is called, but i buy the 85 grain vented 2 blade head, and then get a 15 grain adapter to have my 100 grain head. I really like magnus though.

Magnus stingers, Muzzy phantoms, Zwickeys and silverflames are all good choices.
