Default Cut on Contact Broadheads?

I'm looking for a good COC BH,I bought a pack of 100 Steel Force Terminators. Is there a worry of having the arrow plane.I know some COC BH were made for a slower arrow,I'm shooting GT 5575 28 in Arrow @ 270 fps
Has anyone shot these, how about Phantoms,Stingers or anyother.

I will be hunting mainly elk,but also deer and antelope.
I'll take any advice.
Thanks BBJ

I have not shot the Steel Force heads but from what I understand they have excelent flight characteristics. My only complaint about them, and the reason I have never used them, is the unsupported blade out front. I worry about the blade bending on hard bone hits.

If I were going to shoot a cut on contact head it would be a razor cap.

This is aobut the only other broadhead that I might prefer shooting over the slck trick.

A good cut-on-contact is the Magnus Stinger. I prefer the 4 bladed design. The blades are made with hardened steel and another unique design charactoristic is how the blades are sharpened on the trailing edge. Here is their website.

Also, check out check out the broadheadtest at this website.

I would not use anything other than a Magnus Stinger. I shot 3 deer this year with the same broadhead.[8D]

I've used the Steelforce broadhead and with the setup I used I had problem's with plaiing until I took the bleeder's off and used them as a 2 blade broadhead ,I was using a Golden Eagle 60# shooting about 245fps .I wouldn't hesitate to use them with the bleeder's on my current setup 60# BowTech Patriot Dually 290+fps.

Thanks guys for the info.

I will try my Steel Force BH,I'm also looking at the NAP Razorbacks and the Sonic Head BH.

I like the Sonice but the lack of wound chanle dia. is scarring me a little.I would like to have more than 1" Dia. wound.

Has anyone used the Razorbacks or the Sonic's before. So many BH out in todays market maybe I sould go back to my WASP SST.
Thanks BBJ

A lot of guys on the Texasbowhunter board have been shooting the Muzzy Phantoms and speak very highly of them, especially on hogs. I'm trying the Montec G5 next weekend on hogs.

Sonic also is making a head called the liberty. It is the same head but made from aluminum and with a larger cutting diameter of 1-3/16 of an inch.
