pendulum sites
Well since moving down to Alabama from Colorado I have gone hunting a couple of times and have come to the realization that I do not need a site with 4 pins set out to 50 yards. I simply will not be shooting that far in the thick woods here.
I am seriously considering getting a pendulum site since nearly all of my hunting will be out of a tree stand. I have never even tried one before but I understand that they are good out to about 35ish yards from a tree stand depending on your arrow speed.
I need your help in deciding which one offers the best durability, least ammount of noise, and is the most accurate in compensating for elevated distances.
Looking on the web I like the looks of the Impact Archery bravo, Cobra view master, Toxonix sniper, and Tru Glo's pendulum. Any others I should consider besides the Keller. I want a fiber optic or tritium pin.
Thanks guys.

RE: pendulum sites
I've been using the Cobra View master extreme and am very happy with it. It has a very bright pin, locks down, is well made and is easy to adjust. I like it so much I bought a second one to put on my back up bow. I only shoot out to about 25 yards from my stands so it works great for me. Just my 2 cents

RE: pendulum sites
I've tried several over the years with mixed results. Personally I find no reason for one. With bow speeds of around 260fps I've had about the same results from a fixed pin set for 25 yards, and there are no moving partd to make noise and/or fall apart. And I can use mine on the ground without changing anything.
But, whatever floats your boat.
