RE: Reflex Buckskin or Excursion
i can't speak for the excursion, but the buckskin is a pretty nice bow. it is very quiet i think. of course most bows are today as most bows sport sims stuff. i like the cam 1/2. not a lot of valley but the bow has a pretty solid wall and it really feels good in my hands at full draw. (its really comfortable to me.) i wish it could have a tad bit more mass to it to deaden any handshock that exists (although, seriously, there isn't that much.) all in all, a great bow i think, jmho.

RE: Reflex Buckskin or Excursion
I have a reflex excursion. I can honestly say it is the best bow I have shot for the money! I shot all the high end hoyts including all the new 2005. I would take my excrusion over the new vtec! The high end hoyts are very nice bows, escpecially the tubotec and vipertec but for the price they better be damn good. For $250, the excrusion is a very nice piece of equipment. Mine is set at 65lbs, it is fast quiet, light and very smooth! I will post pics later of it.

A Reflex Buckskin is basically a Hoyt Magnatec from what I understand.I have a Magnatec and it is a very good bow, quiet and accurate.I'm not sure what the Excursion is.I know that Reflex bows are made by Hoyt so you really shouldn't go wrong.
