buddy stand
just got a buddy stand..ladder stand made by Hunters Veiw..for B-day. any bad or good comments on this product? I have heard to put wood or blocks at ladder base so stand will not sink and add stress to joints...Thanx for any input.

RE: buddy stand
hello all.....Ipurchased a buddy stand last year and it' s a great stand.........I use it to take my son who is only 5 hunting with me.......I suggest getting some camo burlap to hang around the shooting rail to hide a youngsters movement if that' s what your using it for.....you are also correct about blocks under the legs...I learned that the hard way......also you might want to go ahead and put some camo spray paint over the existing finish cause after a year in the woods the original finish will allow the stand to rust in some areas......however the extra paint seems to have curtailed this on mine.......overall it' s about the best stand I' ve seen for two people for the money....I realy enjoyed it last year and can' t wait to get my little man back in it this season!!!!!!! have a great season and I hope some of the info is helpful.......Drakes 1st

i bought a big game double,love it
i don' t know if you stand has a back in it or not, i cut a piece of exterior plywood, installed it with wrap ties, it sure does help an old back on those long days. just a suggestion...
