Nick - personally I've been using Gold Tip Hunters for years now and they've never let me down. I normally go an ebay and buy blems (purely cosmetic/finish issue) shafts and get them at a good price. I do my own cutting and fletching also.
I am fortunate enough to be able to buy any arrow I want but I am also smart enough not to spend money when I don't have to. Don't think I am putting Carbon Express or Easton down because I am not. They are a great arrow. But if it were me and I were to go with CE, I would select the Maxima Hunter. Slightly better than the Mayhem or Mayhem Hunter.

Bronko - thanks for your imput! I really appreciate it! The last arrows I used were carbon express Maxima Blue Streaks and I loved them. They did a great job and i have nothing to complain about. Just wanted to expand my knowledge a little bit.
