bowtech/matthews-which would you pick?

RE: bowtech/matthews-which would you pick?
I tend to agree with the others that neither of those two bows from those two companies would be my first, or even second choice, for a hunting bow because of their unforgiving designs. If you are looking for speed with a somewhat more forgiving setup then the Patriot Dual Cam would get my vote. Its larger brace height coupled with the long riser/short limb design and aggressive cams yields a very fast arrow but with more forgiveness than the short brace height models.
As for quality.....I think you get more for your money with the Bowtech designs.

Many people claim speed is of no importance , accuracy is all there is. To say a bow is inaccurate because it' s fast is, inaccurate (pun intended). It' s been said you just miss faster with a fast bow. I' d say you miss slower with a slow bow. One thing I know, and can prove, my Patriot or P40 will put an arrow anywhere any other bow will. They just do it faster.
To the question at hand: I feel the BKII tall brace is the better choice of the two bows mentioned. I see plenty of these at the 3D shoots. Have yet to see a BM. That is, of course, not to say I don' t see many other Mathews models being used. Just not the BM. If you intend most to hunt with the bow you choose, there are others in the BowTech & Mathews lines that may better suit you (read BowTech Patriot or VFT).
