Ameristep "Dream Season" Hunting Blind
I got real lucky and found a floor model of this blind in Cabela's bargain cave for $215.00. I think the retail is/was $429.
I love the blind. There are windows everywhere, all have zip-in shoot through mesh. Window closure systems are both zipper and magnetic. The magnets are great. You can peek out a blind spot without making any noise. 3 of the 4 corners have 2 full length shoot through windows that go from the ground to the ceiling making it great for bowhunting. The 4th corner is the door, but even that corner has a shoot through window in the top half.
It also has a zip in floor, and alittle shelf to put your accessories on. It's a little on the heavy side, but its very sturdy. Also, the carrying case has good padded shoulder straps w/ a waist belt and 2 large pockets for other gear.
I've been playing with it out in my yard for a few days and have 3 woodchucks to show for it. The bowhunting juices are really flowing now.
Anybody else have any experiences w/ this blind?
