Default mathews new line of bows

as anyone had any experience with their new line of bows? especially the monster. the monster looks alot like the pse x-force. seems like mathews put the solo-cams on the back burner for now.

I saw the new lineup and I agree with you. Some of the bows do look a lot like the X force. Just another one of Mathews "innovations". I'm not really a fan of Mathews, but they do seem like pretty sweet bows especially if they can shoot that fast without kicking. Post back if you get a chance to shoot one.

I just shot the reezen 6.5 and i didn't like it at all. It had TONS of handshock and the draw didn't seem to be as smooth as mathews from before. Maybe a STS would help with the handshock but without one it shot terrible, jmo.

My hunting buddy just ordered a Reezen...I'll be shooting it in the next couple of weeks so I will post my "take" on it for what it is worth.

Sorry man but that bow will not do 333 with 400 grain arrow at 28". Figure about 11fps per ince of draw and about 1fps for each 3.5 grains of arrow and that would mean it would IBO at 369. I shot that bow and it is fast but not that fast.

If you actually got 333 out of it thenyour chrono isoff. Take a look at this http://forums.mathewsinc.com/viewtopic.php?p=1361226&sid=154575b11201897566 39dfe63c998e74
This guy is shooting 70 lbs, 28in draw with a 350 grain arrow and got 317fps. So there is no way your getting 333.

I just shot the Reezen 6.5. It was in a 28" dram at 70 lbs. My arrows wereEaston Axxis ST 340 N-fused & the arrow shafts were 29" long (I shoot a 29" draw in my bow, so arrows were a little too long). It shot 296 & 298 on the two shots that I checked the speed on. I could feel some hand shock, but not a lot. It is not as smooth as my Switchback XT, but I may buy it. I am a huge Matthews fan though, soI may be a little biased. I don't think so. This is my honest opinion though.
