Iusean older version of that fanny pack from cabelas. Mine has the buddy lock system and found that the attachable pouches did not secure very well and sometimes fell off, so I dont use them. Itsuits me very well.I use the front flap and straps to secure a light jacket or sweatshirt while hiking to my stand. I also wear it in the front while packing in my climbing treestand. The main compartment has enough room for my necessities, harness teather, limb saw, pruning shears, face net, gloves, pull up rope, gps, etc.. If you like to bring alot of gear you might want to get something larger. Best of luck this year.

No, I go pretty light on gear. Sounds like it might work for me.

I got the Badlands Monster Fanny. Best purchase I have made. It has tons of room and a lot of compartments to keep your stuff organized. Comes in handy when I have to get something in a hurry. I rarely have much in it but when i do it sure is nice. Don't even know it's there. It distributes the weight so well.
