No, plenty sharp out of the package.

Blades that are laser sharpened have a very precise edge. Trying to get them sharper is virtually impossible.

Sweet! I haven't opened mine yet. I am waiting for Christmas morning (opening day).

I sharpen all my broadheads no matter what they look like when I take them out of the package! To answer your question, yes I sharpen my Slick Tricks when I get them, no reason NOT to!

If you think a ST needs sharpening then you just might be obsessive compulsive. Just kidding.

They are sharp enough to cut with no pain. Don't ask how I know that. [8D]The only other broadhead I have been painlesslycut by was a NAP thunderhead.

I hate being painlessly cut. You are just walking around minding your own business and suddenly notice these red drops following you . . . . .

No I do NOT sharpen Slick Tricks out of the package. Absolutely no reason too, as they are some of the sharpest heads out of the package currently on the market.

IMO most people would do more than good even trying.

Don't forget that you want a good compromise between sharpness and strength. If you had it as sharp as the razor that you shave with it would be very weak, you would probably destroy the edge just entering the animal.
