Ripcord arrow rest

RE: Ripcord arrow rest
I use a ripcord and currently use FOB's, but before that it was cock vane up. As far as yours looking like it is going to hit the retaining bar, you will just have to try it and see, with out looking at mine, does that bar have a vertical adjustment on it?

Man,,,,,how tall is your fletching? My FOB's are 1" dia. which means they stick out a little less than a half inch from the arrow and I don't think mine is even close to hitting the bar, I will look at mine tonight.

I have one on my Cardiac. I shoot blazers mostly and had some contact with the cock vane up and in the down position as well. I just rotated the cock vane to the outside a little and it shoots great. I used my dremmel and cut about 1/4 inch off the top of the prongs to help with clearance issues and I now have no problems at any position.

You don't need the retainer bar on it. You would have to turn your bow upside down to loose the arrow without it. We have been using them for several years and love them. Only problem I have seen is that guys are setting them up wrong. They tie them in to short and the rest is not able to fall away properly.
