hha optimizer sight or Impact Archery Cosmic Sight

RE: hha optimizer sight or Impact Archery Cosmic Sight
pup, I'd say the pin on the Cosmic is about .030. I've shot 3D with mine, and it works fine. Some shoots set up shots in low light. The Cosmic pin is a real help there. The light weight and compact size, coupled with the brightest pin, make it the ideal hunting sight. As far as adjusting in the field, you can leave the front screw out and just use the rear screw. It won't move if you're shooting a few shots. I haven't tried to find if it will move after repeated shots. One thing regarding 3D. The moveable pin will put you in MBO (open). At local shoots it usually isn't an issue. I just leave it at 25 yds & don't move it. At an IBO shoot I doubt this would be allowed. As far as the halo, I don't notice it in good light. In very low light it is a little noticeable, though not a problem for me.

I have the Cosmic on mine and love it. For 3d, hunting...perfect. Indoor paper shooting it works ( I'm using it) but there are probably better options. No halo that I've seen and as far as the adjustment goes, the pivot has a allen screw you can tighten up. I lubed mine with gun oil and tightened it just so it slides smoothly with a little pressure. I shot it 20-25 times last week without it moving before I realized I'd forgotten to tighten it down the last time I adjusted it. Never dropped a hair. I just tightened it and kept shooting!
I Have to admit thoguh the HHA does look like a nice sight.Anyone check out the Vital Bow Gear stuff? I guess it's the old SME and that was a good sight as well.

I also have the HHA optimizer lite on my bow, and I love it. I did replace the pin with a different pin, but the movement on the HHA lite is simple and very easy to adjust.

I don't think the question was ever answered, can you mount a detach quiver with these two sights?

As far as the HHA Optimizer-yes, you can attach a detach quiver. You mount the quiver on top of the sight which is mounted to the riser.
Hope it helps.
