close ups of my home made arrow cutter
Dave, here's the pics I promised you. there on my flickr account;

The trick to getting a square cut is by not allowing the disk to cut too deep into the shaft which you turn by hand. Hence the screw blocking the dremel. ( it's not a real dremel, it only costs around 35 dollars plus the metal bar which was 9 dollar made it a very cheap arrow cutter )

Looks like a good deal. Do you have the dremel (let's call it that) secured in place somehowto keep it from jumping or just hold it in position by hand ? Hey, good pics too, looks like that one doe spotted you and then diss'ed ya (Stuck her tongue out at you).

yeah, BKE, I saw her first and took a few pics and then she was so curious she kept following me instead of me following her....
I don't keep the dremel fix, I hold it with one hand and turn the arrow with the other....
it makes me cutting easier and it's nearly impossible to keep the dremel on the tube really fixed.
I still check the arrows afterwards with a fieldtip and a loose insert just to make sure ( you should get the G5 tool )
