I like my Yellow Jacket much better than the Block which was quite a disappointment to me. I saw the Utube video and the King Series does look like the best.

I have had one for 2 years now. Probably a few hundred shots. Its ok. But not as impressed as alot of people that really recommended it. I know I have wore out three spots on it front and back. But have 6 more spots to shoot at before its totally gone. I figure a person can easily get 1000 shots in it befor it bites the dust if you shoot at least nine spots on both sides. One thing I don't like is I pull out chucks out of it now. Not near as bad as the block.

Someone commented earlier about shooting fieldtips into their morrel yellow jacket. I know for a fact this target is absolutely worthless for fieldtips. I shot it three times and all three arrows burried to the fletches and it took two of us to pull them out, and your trying to tell me putting soap on them helped. Im guessing my arrows probably would have been sticking in the ground behind the target if I did that.

Passthru---- Yes they are definantely a bi@** to pull out with fieldtips. Yes we had to make a lil contraption in a bottle with sponges and really soapy water and thats how we shot all year. They were still a pain but it did make it 100 times easier! As far as punching up to the fletchings on the first three shots on I am assuming a NEW target WOW what kinda setup you using cause im gonna get me one of dem'!

I've shot several, several hundred shots into mine with Muzzys -- very few of those were with the practice blades; most were with actual blades. My Yellowjacket has held up extremely well, and I can live with pulling out occasional chunks better than all the little foam slivers I was getting all over the place with the other one.

I'd highly recommend it as my broadhead target of choice.

My Yellow Jacket made me nuts! I'm constantly tinkering with my bow and it seems like all of buddies like to shoot my targets too. Trying to group tune BH's and FP's is just downright a PIA so I bought a Rhinehart 18 and one and I'm not looking back. I've shot and my buddies have shot it a lot this year and they live up to their hype. Not one pass thru in nearly 18 months. I know its been shot with at least 500 BH's in the last 2 months. Mainly fixed blades too. I gave my Yellow Jacket away.

dang, after watching that video, im almost convinced to buy a AWT!

just dont know how biased it is. i was going to buy me a nice broadhead target...probably the yellow jacket...but parents are talking of moving. if i dont have a yard to shoot in, i would waste 50+$..so im waiting.

i bought a 30$ piece of foam at Dick's sporting goods. its about 2" thick and really hard foam. ive shot countless broadheads into it. this is the second season it seem. i got it about all shot out now. i bet i got 300+ into it...id say i got my 30$ out of it...

I just got a Yellow Jacket yesterday. Had a Morrell Six Shooter(junk).
I have put 50 bh's into it so at 285fps and they stop them real well.
This target seems alot tougher than most. I wonder if the difference in opinion might be that the fill material is not consistant from one batch to the next.

You hit the nail right on the head. They use scrap material and include a cardboard box for one of the sections. When you use scrap material you never know what you're going to get.

i couldnt believe that when i watched that video. ya...i can stuff more foam in there...heck i can rebuild it...but 50$ for some foam?

i really want a big ole foam block. i see tons of people shooting them around here. i seen them down the river by the boats and boat docks. i think they use them for dock floats...i really want to get my hands on one. most of them run like 6ft long by 2-3ft deep...and it seems to be a good foam to shoot into. might not "heal" might sliver...but the things are huge. chop it into 3 2x2x2 sections and make 3 targets...that aughta last forever....im still tryin to hunt me one down...i really need a BH target...dont wanna spend 50$ on junk. worse comes to worse i will buy my 30$ piece of foam from Dick's...mine held up a year...glue it to the new one, and i will really get life out of them....
