I shoot tribute 70lb 29in.adding peep sight dont care to much for the peep with the added tube.so i hear the best thing to do if using a peep(no tube) is to get a string that stretches the least or not at all?1st of all does this sound right?and if it is worth it what string recomendations?.....thanks

One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is the user name "Gibblet" right here on this website. He makes some of the best strings I've ever used and pretty reasonable. Look him up and send him a PM with any questions.

And "yes", one of the better things you can do to rid yourself of those stupid rubber tubes and help keep your bow in tune longer is get good aftermarket strings.

Bowtech tribute should come with winners choice strings, best made if you ask me. Ive always just lined my string loop up with my peep and never had any problems. Winners Choice strings dont seem to twist at all after theyre broken in.

You want one made of BCY 452x, Brownell UltraCam or Brownell Excel. I believe the BowTechs all are made of 452x so you should have no problem with the factory strings. If you're looking to replace it PM Gibblet with Bucknasty bowstrings.
