RE: BUSHNELL RANGE FINDER SPORT
I have the YP 500 and love it. [I notice Chuck Adams uses the 500 as well]. However I looked in my Cabela's Catalog and do not see a sport. They have a Scout model that is supposed to read fron 10 yards to maybe 500 yards. In my opinion the Scout would be worth the money spent but I don't know about the Sport model.

RE: BUSHNELL RANGE FINDER SPORT
lonewolf, I have a sport. It's small enough so as not to be cumbersome. I couldn't see spending the extra money for the added features of the others. All I want to know is how far. Mine ranges as close as 7 yds. It's accurate to within 1 yd. For just reading distance, the sport is all that's needed.

Theres a thread on the bowhunting forum on " Good deal on Rangfinders". You can get the sport model from JCpenny.com for 89 dollars.

RE: BUSHNELL RANGE FINDER SPORT
I agree with PDQ
I have not ranged a deer at 400 yds but I have ranged my hunting buddy at 600 yds when he was walking back down the track to the truck.
