Default Finally arrived.

The Merlin bow I ordered in late October came in this weekend. Just got it set up yesterday. This bow is really sweet, virtually no vibration, smooth draw and looks very cool. It's set up with Copper John sight,Shur-drop rest (that did need a cord), Alpine MR-2 stabilizer and sling. Peep sight will be changed when the string sets in. Shooting some Carbon radials out of it 29" @58# and 100 gr field pts. got me 251 fps.

I like the paint scheme on that bow. Is it custom?

Paint on the bow is as is from factory. This bow is set up for 60# max and 29" draw length, the pro shop has modules that we can fine tune the draw length if we find I need another 1/4" or so or we can shorten with other modules. Currently set up with Copper John 5 pin sights, Alpine MR2 stabilizer, and a shurdrop cordless rest (needed cord to make it work). I am shooting Carbon Radial weaves 7.5 gr per in. 100 gr. target point @ 58# and am getting 251 fps. IBO speed is 300 @ 70# and 29" draw. I was shooting a 3 yr. old bow at 62# and in cold weather I actually had a heck of a time going from sitting stone still for 3 hrs. to full draw. Guess it's that old age creeping up on me, actually more like running up from behind and jumping on my shoulders. Can't wait to get sometime to dial it in. Just noticed I forgot to install a kisser button!!!
