I bought a bow square a few years ago for about seven bucks and works great.

Elkshed, I think he is actually talking about something different than what you are (see below). A G5 A.S.D. shaves inserts and arrows to square the ends so the broadhead fits up against it square and spins true. Although you can't see it, most arrow inserts are not machined to true square tolerances and arrow trimming often is not square.

I have one and I do think they are worth it, but you can find them cheaper if you look around or do a internet search.

I use my A.S.D all the time whenever I'm putting together arrows and occasionally check my hunting arrows throughout the seasonj with it. I think it's a must have for a well equipped bowhunter. It needs to sit on your bench, right beside the fletching jig, the digital grain scale and the arrow spin tester.
