Default containment rest

I know many of you shoot the whisker bisquit . I also know there are many of you who don't like them . I want to get my daughter set up for archery . I think a containment rest would be good for her . I would also like to put one on one of my bows . Is this the best way to go ? How long do they last ? Will it withstand an 11 yr old ? Is there a better choice ,,, for a containment rest ? Thanks .

I'd really like to play with the newer version of the 360 from NAP. It looks like a great rest.

I've got the QAD Ultra Rest (Hunter Series) and like it so far.

Whisker bisquit is a great rest! Look how long its been around. Why would you think so many people use it? Simple because it works great and easy to use. The whisker bisquit is what made Carolina archery. I know its not their sights Its the really a simple rest, once its tuned right. Dont get a complicated rest for an 11 year old. Thats pretty young , never to young to start shooting a bow! Good luck!

Get a total containment rest, there is nothing complicated about it. More than likely your 11 yr. old will not have perfect form, so a Whisker Bis. would not be a good idea. You'll see a lot of inconsistency with shots with a WB. Once you you release your arrow with a total containment rest, there is nothing that is going to affect your shot. You can get away with a lot more with a total containment than you can with the Whisker Bis., which is ideal for an 11 yr. old.
