Bowtech?

Bowtech?
I have a choice to make! I can either buy a Bowtech Old Glory for around 350, or i can get a Bowtech TomKat for alittle less. I have never bought a bow, and was wondering what one you would choose for someone completely new to bowhunting. I have been told that the TomKat would be a better choice for a newbie bowhunter, but i want to know what y'all thought about this.

RE: Bowtech?
Both are very good bows and for that sort of money I would buy them both.
But pick the one that suits your needs and personal desire.
I know if I had the choice I would go for the OG because of it's longer axle to axle but thats just me

RE: Bowtech?
what does the longer ATA do?
Which is why you see the top Pro shooters ( not tv hunters )using bows 40" plus ata.
A short ata is ok at close in ranges and more easy to manouver in a tree stand or ground blind.
Personally I look for stability in a bow.
Here is a little test get a piece of 2x4 or an old broom handle say 31" long hold it in the middle and see how easy it is to rock your wrist left and right now get a piece 40" and you will see and fell the difference.
