Yep, hunt4hogs is correct. [&:]
I hate to be an example but in this case that's the way it goes. But I also must say that I have bought4 other bows over the years from places like ebay, archerytalk or even from a pro shop and this is the only time I've ever had a problem.

I don't get your point. Some people cannot afford new bows. E-bay gives them a chance to look at a lot of brands and buy one they like.
By your logic..there should ne no used cars either?? Warranty??

RE: e bay bows
I got a brand new (at the time) 2004 Alpine Stealth Force for 1/2 the price my local bow shop wasasking for it. A shop back east (I'm in the north west US) was going out of business and getting rid of inventory.
The thing with e-bay bows is they have all kinds of contact info if you need it. I called the shop before I bid on the bow. It came new in the box with warrenty.
So, yes you can find good deals on bows if you do your homework a little. The only thing that I didn't like wasthe bow wasn't 100% set up for me, and needed some tweeking. So next time I may go with a local shop just to getthe personal set up the first time.
I will definitly use ebay for accessories though. I bought almost everything I have onthatAlpine (sight, quiver, vibration dampners, etc.) from ebay, making it a truely "ebay bow". It hasn't let me down yet...
