Default fish & arrow question

stupid question but, how do you take the fish off the arrow when you have the two hooks at the end?

I just got my AMS retreiver pro combo kit this past friday and I haven't gone out yet but I was wondering how to get the arrow out.

Depends on the type of fish point.

On someyou can just unscrew the very tip a couple turns and the barbs reverse. On others, you need to unscrew the tip all the way and then slide the fish off, then re-attach the tip.

Does it say what kind of fish point is on your arrow?

umm no it doesn't. I assume its the first kind where you unscrew a bit then reverse it because there was glue at the end of the hole tip so it wouldn't come off.

I bought the AMS retrevier pro combo kit and there were two arrows in it. the very tip is black then the rest is silver with two hooks that are about 1/8 of an inch thick.

Is there a bowfishing season or do you need a bowfishing license or is it year round for anyone?

Does it look like any of these tips? http://www.bowfishingextreme.com/ItemsForSale/Points/bowfishing_points.htm

Try unscrewing the black tip several turns and then try to push the barbs back around. (flip them)
