sorry i didnt get back to you very quick. been busy in the bow hunting forum. carp sniper pretty much said it all. i shoot a recurve and the arrow rests on the actual bow. i dont use a roller or rest of any kind. i just lay moleskin down. as far as a saftey slide goes i dont use one but i would recomend it. i have heard horror stories about people cutting fingers pretty deep. i will soon be switching over. are you shooting a recurve or a compound? i can give you some helpful tips on how to shoot both of them if you want just let me know. good luck and keep us posted on how you do.

I can set you up with one of my "THUMPERTIZED" spincast and a reel seat like Muzzy's for $65.00 to your door. I do not have any of my arrows built (ready for market) yet but you can pick arrows up from www.backwaterbowfishing.com or www.bowfishingextreme.com relitively inexpensive. You can pm me if you like. IU suggets a spinner but I do sell only spinners so I am biased.
