vintage bear recurve

Default vintage bear recurve

i have an old recurve made by fred bear. its called the "green fox". i have been having alot of trouble getting any info on the bow like how old it is or how long of a string i need for it. the bow is 56" long and has a 45# draw weight. thats about all i know. any other info would be appreciated.

I have the same bow. Bought brand new in 1973. Bowstring lenght is 52 1/2" hope this is a help. as far as age I believe from research they made them starting in 68 or 69 thru 74.
