Kentucky Lake. Lake Barkley. The Ohio River.

Those are great for bowfishing.

In fact the Bowfishing Association of America (BAA) will hold it's "World Shoot" on Barkley on July 28-29 in Kuttawa.

The United Bowhunters of Kentucky is holding a shoot on KY Lake on May 5-6th.

Campbell's Outdoor Challenge is having it's Bowfishing Challenge on June 7-8-9 on KY Lake.

Go to this link: http://www.unitedbowhuntersofkentucky.org/officers.html
Mike Whelan and Dan Richeson both should be able to give you some good advice on bowfishing in KY.

On a nice hot sunny day,go below a dam in the pools where the rocks are carved by the current. And when a fish comes to take a drink,SHOOT HIM!

KZA, have you heard of the United Bowhunters of Kentucky? They have many members who bowfish. They would be a good source of info on your area.
Also, Mr Dan Richeson of B.N.I. Bowfishing. I'm not sure if he is part of the UBK or not but hewould be agreat guy to ask as well.
You can find him at www.bowfishingstuff.com

Good Luck and good fishing.
