There is a good amount of smoke with 777 but no sulfer smell in fact pretty much no smell at all. I had no problem removing the nipple the two times I have used tripple 7. Of course, I always put a little bit of oil on the threads of the nipple before I put it back in the gun. Mostly for waterproofing reasons. I don't know if this makes any difference. It probably burns up with the first shot. Lone Wolf you might try some 325 grain barnes. They sure work well in my same rifle and I doubt there is any better load on deer...
