does anybody know where i can get a loading tube? I know people use large diameter arrows but that still seems a bit to small to me.thanks

That's the only commercial one I've seen. You could always make your own to your liking.

You can usually find brass tubing at Ace Hardware in fairly long lengths. I made my drop tube from that. Get the hard brass tubing not copper plumbing tubing. The big problem is finding a funnel; although I have used my regular powder funnel (plastic one). Not very period accurate but it works.

I seen one made out of brass tube and a muzzle guide. The person took Epoxy and glued the tube to the muzzle guide. It was kind of slick because after he lowered it in the barrel the guide made sure it was centered.

I have no idea where he bought the stuff he used to make it out of but it was a homemade one for sure.

RMC has some funnels but I don't see one that looks appropriate. I used a plastic reloading funnel and an arrow shaft. Hardly use it though.

I made a drop tube from an Easton aluminum arrow shaft and a small plastic funnel found in the housewares department at most stores. I cut the shaft to rest high enough to allow for the amount of powder I use. I epoxied the funnel to the top of the shaft and that's it. I use it to load Triple Se7en ffg at the range. It works very well and is inexpensive to make, especially if you already have the arrow shaft.
