Default Other movies that used primative weapons

Last of the Mohicans and The Patriot? I thought the Hawkeye movie was cool (read the books, too), great blackpowder shooting scenes. The Patriot was too bloody and unrealistic for me. Plus, I thought I saw Mel closing his eyes at ignition. Any realistic Civil War movies?

You want to see Mel blink? Watch the original Lethal Weapon when he is at the indoor pistol range. The guy has some serious blinkin and flinchin goin on. Any cop that was that gun shy would not make the force. Sorry Mel! You Can't shoot!
