Default Pitting in my Knight Disc

Anyone know a sure fire cure for pitting? I have tried steel brush and spray on solvent and no results. I have been meticulous in the past with cleaning but I slacked one time and it cost me. I noticed Deer Hunter 21 is having trouble with the Knight DISC. Check for pitting. It is pushing my bullets off 3 or 4 inches. I too had a wolverine that shot great but I fell for the latest greatest gimmick.

Any help is appreciated.

Once the barrel is pitted there is no cure. You can lap the bore out with some lapping compound and that may remove some or all of the pits but you can' t expect to restore the metal that was removed by the pitting. This should restore your accuracy and I would try using a good bore lubricant while the gun is in storage.

My Disc hasn' t pitted. Send it back to Knight. It has a lifetime warranty. I would like to see if their warranty is as good as T/C' s is.I' m sure T/C would replace the barrel at N/C.Hopefully Knight will follow in T/C' s footsteps.Once it' s pitted there is no cure that I know of.That' s the reason you need to keep up with cleaning your BP guns..........

I am ashamed to say I did the same thing with my Disc Rifle. I had to " bite the bullet" and purchase a new barrel.

I may try the sending it back to Knight idea. Maybe I' ll get lucky before I invest in a brand new barrel. Thanks for the input.
