Depending on which design, his was better suited to sabot loads. The recessed version brings the powder closer to the primer. That can be a big benefit with powders like 4198 and sabots in cold weather. I really enjoyed reading his old posts. Ive probably read every one on MML. My barrel is his original spec for contour, its very over built for safety.

If you are asking me.... i don't have a clue. The bullet was shot three times today; the first time i ever shot it. Chances are, i will never shoot it again.
