Pete
Even if they are old stock with a little bigger hollow-point or ran a bunch of these in boat-tails that were discarded after testing, that's fine with me.
Me-No-Care........ it's still a top shelf bullet either way. I don;t even care if it's 44-cal or 45-cal. If he wants to send me some light-weight 40-cals, that's fine too.

Grouse if you have any in .45 I'd like to try them out. Let me know via a pm. I would need enough to sight in of course prior to hunting. But only if you think they will work in well in a 1:30 twist barrel.

The 40cal 185gr should be fine in the 1-30 twist. I shot a few with great results but i was using 100gr loads and above. If you can shoot a Barnes 195gr accurately, chances are you can shoot the Lehigh 185gr too.

No Muley, Lehigh can not sell these bullets. They are the original Lehigh bullets manufactured before they were to become Bloodlines and under contract to Knight. These bullets have been stored for many years. Dave can not sell them to the public because of contract language. He can not sell them to Knight either because they are not Bloodlines - same design and work the same but they have a different knurling pattern.
Simply, Lehigh wanted to get them out of the space they were occupying. They had a choice junk them to scrap of give them away with the thought that they could be used by others that might want them.

Any chance Lehigh can bring back the Range Rod or at least offer the stop collar and muzzle guards?

Just a FYI
Proshot sells a slightly similar rod but its 8-32 threading. The 27cal and up rod are .250" The 50cal rod for 50BMG is .312
Proshot sells the stop collar and muzzle guard for the .250 They don't sell one for the .312 50cal rod.
Selling just those 2 items for rods like Spinjag or Proshot may be easier vs making the entire rod again.

If the bullets are goners from the retail market, then there's really no need to share hunting stories on them. Sorry to have bothered you with my reply.
