that is great shooting... but to see what the bullet would do, you would have to shot into gelatin. That testing stuff. It might go crazy in that kind of stuff.

100gr up to 120 gr blackhorn

Looks like 120 stood it right up. There is promise yet... When you can get back out shoot 3 - 120 grain shots and lets see those holes. 120 is my normal hunting load.

2 of the 100 were also good.

Gosh! and the 100 grain loads - ACCURATE!!!!

So there still might be some sunshine in the 1-30 - everyone of your shots is a dead animal!

That is 100 yard target correct?

Yes 100 yards . I should have shot more 120 gr loads i guess but i just wanted a hole to look at plus i was trying to beat the wife home she went grocery shopping and only left one thing for me to do but i didnt do it , i went shooting instead . but i made it back in time

I no what you mean Terry is working at the Food Bank and I am suppose to be cleaning and running a Vac in my room back here. But I put up a new post and I think I still have 30 min. to get my work done. Later - gator

OK so I am thinking again - not good - I think I will break out the 1-30 again and go with T7-3f powder - starting with the same 110 grain load. That bullet is so light the 3f which creates more peak pressure faster might be just the ticket.

that should put you at just over 2000 fps . Might work I will be waiting your report.

Right at 2100 fps from my previous testing

And 2175 with 120 - 2200 with 130
