Default National Inline Hunter Match

http://nmlra.org/nmlra-events/nmlra-...loading-match/

Tomorrow is the match and rumor is that Knight will have a team there with a "kinda" new rifle. Its similar to the one from the 2006 Knight catalog but now its made of SS. Ive also heard they will be giving away one of these 45cal 1-18twist rifles.

A few guys from the forums will be there competing including at least two that have done exceptionally well in previous NMLRA Inline matches.

It will be interesting to see if any other manufacturer teams will attend and shoot. I imagine Ultimate Firearms will be there and maybe a Remington sponsored shooter or two.

Any bets on if Bergara/CVA or Traditions will show up with a team?

If CVA does show, it will be interesting to see how well they do. One must always remember, while equipment quality plays a key role in over all performance and score, the shooter is also a vital part of the equation.

Keep us posted.

Whether CVA shows up, or not. The guns are accurate, and nobody will kill more game if they lose, or win a tournament.

Tournaments are won by the best shooters.

Perfect score for the match is 170-15x

Blake Hamilton overall match winner 169-8x Bestill custom Knight
Greg Fisk 1st place unlimited class 169-7x Bestill custom Omega
J. Day 2nd place unlimited class 167-4x Knight
J. Fisk 3 rd place unlimited class 166-7x Bestill custom Knight

R. Weber 1st place hunter class 164-6x Knight
G. Edwards 2nd place hunter class 157 Knight
M. Miller 3 rd. place hunter class 155-4x Knight

J. Fisk built 3 of the winning customs in the Unlimited class and it looks like Knights swept the hunter class.

Im assuming Gordon Edwards is Gordy Edwards from Knight Rifles. Barry of Knight Rifle also shot a 153-3x in the hunter match.

The Knight on the .....TOP..... was given away by drawing.

The Knight 500 on the ..... BOTTOM.... is the new .45 1:18 twist they are building.

Looks like an individual match not really a team match . I want that 45 1:18 Knight . That would give my old White with the 1:18 Douglas barrel a run for the money

In racing, companies and manufacturers often send teams to races but the actual riders/drivers still compete against each other. "Pro Staff" is probably a better term in this case. IIRC both Barry and Gordy are members of Knight's Pro Staff and employees.

Im glad they came out with a new fast twist 45 BUT i already have a heavy 45 with a match grade bull barrel. Over 10lbs scoped is not what i enjoy to carry so its a range queen. It is quite fun to shoot in that role.

IIRC the custom Knights and the Omega in the unlimited category were using Douglas and/or Brux barrels. J. Fisk builds some beautiful custom Knights and he has done quite well with them in previous matches. The older 1-20 Super DISCs have also done quite well in the inline matches.
