Talk to Sharpshooter. He bought a beautiful SS mk from me at least a couple years ago and has not even shot it. He could use the money in his ultra lite fund.

Sharpshooter has a Stainless mk85 for sale? I am seeing some like I said in the Salt Lake area that are under 200 dollars but I don't trust people. Now I would trust about anybody here. On a classified web page that is different. I did find a Stainless mk85 on a auction site that looks nice. I might make a bid if SS doesn't want to sell a gun. Ron

For me the mk 85 shoulders a lot better. Personally I like the 24 inch barrel better than the 26. I feel that the fit and finish of the mk 85s are better than their more modern guns. However, I have not even seen or touched the rifles from the New Knight company so it is possible that they have gone back to former quality standards.
