    I bought my 54 Rene used with a serial number in the 4800"s. How old do you think this gun would be?

    It's in really nice shape but I haven't had time to really zero it in. I only paid $85 bucks for it so I'm pretty happy with it sitting in the cabinet for now.

    The Rene was and still is a workhorse of a rifle. And I've had T/C still honor their lifetime warranty with a stock. I purchased one on Ebay and they reimbursed me for it.
