Picked up the renegade today, one hell of a guy! He'll be signing up on my forum soon. Has over 400 guns at his place and has some to sell.

A gun shop, or at his home?

Owns a muzzleloader club.

I like that idea.

Well I shot it with 80gr BH209 and a 3 grain booster of 4f under the nipple. Shot instant and felt good. Should have looked at the rear sight because it was adjust way to the left and i normally have them set 1/2 a notch over to the right. Needless to say my 50 yard shots impacted WELL to the left

Fun gun, going to strip her down naked after hunting season and reshape the stock and finish it. Looking at Ebony stain made by LMF.

Oh i almost forgot, there was some rust in the bore when i got it, but after using some jb bore paste, it was just surface rust and didnt leave any pitting, only some darker color spots. She loads like the bore is glass coated, very slick all the way down.

Mine was light like that as well so I darkened it up with some Birchwood-Casey Walnut Stain, Tru-Oil Gun Stock Finish and Stock Sheen & Conditioner.

Does anyone know how old mine is by the serial # L31##K
(Letter 4#'s Letter)

Thanks

HA
