modding an expensive sight and screwing it up would pain me more than carving some wood. At least I have more handy experience with the wood department, cant say that for steel work.

Wow, you wrote you didn't want to carve into the stock of your low # rifle. The fella writes and suggests an alternative way to mount the sight so as to save the value of your rifle. Then you write and say he called you and others idiot, which he didn't. Then your pardner tells the fella to let it go, and insinuates he isn't being helpful. Finally, you write and say you would rather carve into your stock. Whew!

Well.........................i guess i am babbling because the fella gave you a helping hand, and you and your pardner seemed to be rude to him. He showed you a way you could utilize a superior sight on your rifle without cutting into the wood, and instead of thanking him, you both set out to make him look bad...................It seems bewildering to me.

Yes, Ron called Jon an idiot, and admitted it.

Well, i read them post. Didn't learn much. Saw no admission. However, i do see where post 27 has been modified by someone. Evidently, that is the explanation. Sure confused me why you boys jumped all over that fella, when all he did was provide an alternate way to install the sight, without modifying the stock.

Yes, he did delete it. I didn't notice that.

He's been ragging on Jon pretty hard lately, and it's getting old.

Not so much on this forum, because they don't stand for it here, but on another forum.

That's not a dog. It's a boar hog masquerading as a pooch.
