now I am looking into an kodiak pro. can't make up my mind on which one to get.

or
an 45cal SS laminate?

wanting an 45cal SS laminate thumbhole but not an option

any help on this would be helpful.

Well sometimes priorities come with home ownership. I can understand why the wife might have told you no. That money might do more good in other places.

I'd get a Optima. I have both the Kodiak and Kodiak Pro, there OK but there's some things I dont like about them like the Trigger Mec is ermantly ttached to the Barrel, this makes cleaning a Hassle. But both are good shooters.
I like the Optima because it has a Bergaga Barrel.

The boss told you NO!? Looks like its time to find a new job....lol Been there - heard that many times Corey. Anyway, that Wolf you got should be a good shooter. I've heard good reports about them. I just don't care for the short barrels on them. But that is just a personal opinion. Can't wait to hear some range reports - after your house work is done of course....

Save your money and use the guns you got so you can go hunting.

Shoot I thought it did, I just assumed it had a Bergara Barrel, My Bad if it does'nt. That was the main selling point to getting one if I ever did.
