3-10x40 Powder Horn Muzzleloader Scope
#12
Well I mounted it but never got to shoot it today. Shame.. was a perfect day for shooting. But business obligations kept me busy more of the day. Plus for some reason I slept in late this morning (which is something I very seldom do). But I decided to take a Simmons Pro Diamond 4x32 off my stainless steel 1-28 twist Green Mountain 50 caliber barrel. This is the one that sits on a Renegade stock. I figured with the quality of that barrel and a good scope, it should be able to do some real long distance shooting.
The scope mounted up real easy, and I took it outside to put the finishing touches on it. When I lay my head on the stock the scope is perfect to the eye. After I got it all down, I was looking around in the woods with it. The glass is exceptional. I know Sabotloader shoots one and always bragged about how nice a scope it was. I can see now what he was looking at.
So tomorrow, if all goes well I will sight it in.
