Looks like those lehighs put the smack down on deer as well as the Barnes bullets do..you going to use one for your 300 yd shooting or something a bit more aerodynamic like the TEZ? looking at Lehighs site and the lack of .40 cal bullets,it appears Knight may indeed be marketing a .45 cal this year.

The dead centers are pure lead are they not. what velocity will you be pushing the dead centers at? lead starts acting funny around 2000 fps, which affects it's accuracy..not only that, but i refuse to pay what they want for there pure lead bullets.it's highway robbery, similar to parker bullets.

yeah they are pure lead, I been pushing them at about 1980 , so thats close to 2000fps. They have been the most accurate at 250 yards so far , but I dont know what the performance would be like at long range.the 290 barnes are more accurate in my knight then the 250 teze. Groups with it are about 1 or 2 inches bigger.

Carlos has bought and sold quite a few of them and the 50 and .45 calibers are extremely accurate, even after chopping the barrels down to 20".i merry christmased myselfthere shooting barnes, xtp, nosler and sst all with fantastic accuracy in the .45 cal.
