Default Dialed the Wolf in today

Mounted a 3-12x40 Konuscope on the Wolf a few days ago as this gun has killed 2 bushnell scopes already. Hopefully this other scope will last. Im not sure whats up with the bushnells lately but i have not had any luck at all with them.

Dialed her 1 1/2" high at 50 yards and taking it to the NRA Tomorrow with 110gr BH209 and the 300gr PT Golds with the crush rib sabots. She was shooting one hole groups at 50 yards so im hoping it will do good at 100 on paper.

After that im going to video some 100yrd silhouette shots! I swear i found a new passion! LOL. Those suckers are just fun as heck to shoot. Maybe even shoot at some of the 200 yard rams out there.

Does that rifle really kick that hard or do you really blame the scopes? It seems strange that two scopes would have failed. If the new scope fails, let me know and I'll mail you a Simmons Pro Diamond 4x32mm. I have not been able to get one to fail yet.

dave, just junk scopes. The first scope, the rear lens fell out. This other scope the parralex is out of wack and moves around on me. The bulls eye is normally in the lower left hand corner.

cheapos from walmart. I dont like to spend a lot of money on scopes due to the fact that i cant use them in ML season. The konus was the most expensive at $80

Jon,there's your problem lol. try a $70.00-$80.00 3-9x40 banner M/L/shotgun scope next time.great eye relief for those .300 gr/110 gr charges your shooting out of that wolf..those .300 gr PT are accurate.. good shooting by the way.

ive had a banner in the past and it to did the same thing. It was a really good scope, i had it on my omega at the time. It eventually was throwing my shots over the target.

We'll see how she does at 100 tomorrow. I mainly want to play with those steel targets and do a lil filming for fun.

If you want to have some fun try the 6 and 10 inch gongs at 250 yds. It takes some good shooting if there is any wind.

Dang MD, I live my bushnell's, I have a bushnell banner dusk to dawn 3X9 Muzzleloader Scope in Mossy Oak that is compareable to my Leupold Ultimate Sm=lam MLer Scope, and another that I got at Wal-Mart for $39, it was bought, opened and returned, it has never let me down. In 35 years of hunting I have never had any scope go out of zero or break. I even still have a 20+ year old Tasco that keeps on going, that one cost $29.
So that Wolf's a Shooter huh....what barrel is on the wolf, a Bergara? My Accura can do one hole groups at 50 and 1" at a 100. On a good day I can do 2" at 200 but most of the time it's somewhere between 2-3", I'll still take that anyday.
