Knight needs a Sidelock
#12
An inline having a slower twist with the right type of rifling that's conducive for shooting patched round balls wouldn't be such a bad idea. It would probably also need to have the option to use percussion caps. And a lot of folks really want to shoot the big bores, so they might even go for an inline if one were made in .58.
Those TC .58 big bores are hard to find and folks can't find enough of them.
Even a .54 wouldn't be so bad.

Other than Italian guns( pedersoli and Lyman) or custom built there are no quality sidelock guns anymore. I know there are lots of used ones available and I know inlines make up 90% of the market but it sure would be nice to see Knight bring out a Hawken or Plains type rifle in 54 caliber. Percussion and flintlock.
I would be out hunting with my 54 cal Northern Plains Hawken
right now

Oh wait! They wouldn't make a LH model. Screw Knight!
