My season in a nut shell

My season in a nut shell
Well, I am thinking that my season has came to an end, even tho we still have a couple weeks to hunt with the bow. I just have too much going on the rest of the year. Season started September 17th.
39 sits
109 hours in a tree or ground blind
About 6 different bucks, total of 12 buck sightings
2 fawns, both of them button bucks.
Saw 37 does. No idea how many of them were actually the same does.
For sure the worst rut I have ever witnessed.

Well at least you saw deer. But I well understand when other commitments keep you out of the woods. Better luck next year.
Now northern Wisconsin according to some I talked to had an excellent rut. Lots of bucks chasing does. You could not prove that by me.

Dont feel bad our Rut was the same way, the worst ever. We had a-lot of record warm temperatures, wind and lots of rain, this carried on into gun season as well and it's the same way. To make things worse we did'nt get any snow to speak of and our late muzzle loadins season is ending next tuesday and were snowless, I cant believe this.
