Forgive me, for I am about to sin...

This was coming. Ever wonder why I sell so many guns? Losing this money was the last straw. Not that it would make me quit by itself. It just told me that maybe I should go a different way.
To be perfectly honest. I always hated inlines with a passion. I consider them a wannabe ML trying to be a CF gun.
If Colorado had a true primitive ML season. I'd be all over it. As it is. I have little interest. I gave it an honest try. It just doesn't suit me as is.
I can't go against what my heart is screaming at me. No judgement on my part. You guys are having fun, and that's all that matters.
I'll still throw a wisecrack at you all now and then. I'm still a hunter like you all. I'll just be shooting a different gun. Maybe not so different after reading this thread.

I started modern gun season with my Knight in hand. At 745 on opening day, I popped a doe who promptly staggered over a ridge line, and 10 seconds later met up with a 30-30 slug. Doh!
As the gun season progressed, it kept getting warmer, wetter and windier and the deer were staying bedding until evening. So I set up on a bean field, ~300 yards across and took my Mark X 7x57.
The next day, I set up on a slightly smaller field with my Knight, along with the 30-30 shooter from opening day (who had traded his 30-30 for his Browning 30-06), and behold, this time he got jump on the deer and his did not run past me.
Late muzzleloader season starts Saturday, 10 December, so I have a few more hours to spend with the Knight Bighorn for the year.
