well the offer is in, one of the conditions was they had to fix and/or paint a few minor things. everyone we talked to said that it is going to be no more then $500 worth of work. mostly in labor.

there where 3 broken windows, one window on the out side need to be painted and the bad porch stairs need to be fixed. with the type of loan we got, the house needs to be perfect on the out side and minor stuff inside to go thru. if it was not for the loan. we would do the work our selves.

Now's the time to Buy if your 100% Certain that you'll have a Job down the road to repay the Loan. 3.99%, you cant beat that....if that's what your going to get intrest wise. $500 for work to fix it up, that's Peanuts, Im sure every House out there could use $500 worth of work, there's always something. But with Owning a Home comes Property Taxes, School Taxes, Insurance, and Maintenance, Yard Work and anything else that could go wrong or need fixing. It's not all Fun and Games but it's HOME! Hope you get it and Enjoy it!

jess knows I am saving up for a new gun (does not know how much I am going to spend). no school tax in my area as far as I know. we have an RA Development loan with an 5% fixed. one of the catches of the loan, the house has to be almost perfect. one thing we want to put on the house if we get it. is an deck. does not have one. really everything that needs to fix does not bother me. I can do some of it myself. if it was not for the type of loan. i would not of cared
