I hope that there are more suitable bullets than when they first came out with them. I guess I never did understand why so many people could not get them to shoot good.

MM, let me know if you get it. The 1-20 I've hunted with for the last 7-8-or 9 years really shoot the SST.s and Shockwaves and Dead Center very well. Grouse 45 has my other 1-20 to do some testing with it.

Just out of curiosity... Sqezer what powder charge are you using when shooting those SST's.

One of the biggest reasons the 1-20 did not work so well was the sabots could not handle the torq put on them by the twist of the bore with heavy powder charges and the popular bullets, whether it be .357 or .40.

A fellow forum member has sent me some .357-358 x 45 sabots that are made by MMP for PR bullets. They are much more substantial than the blue .357's that you sent. I need to get a picture of them together - you will not believe the difference.

Big Conicals on the other hand seem to work great from the 1-20, but again because of the weight of the big conicals powder loads are reduced...

That is the powder charges I thought you might be shooting...

At this point do not send the 1-20 quite yet Tom is working on the information now and I am still hunting... so hang on to it.
